If you’re trying to login but can’t remember your password, underneath where you enter your username and password to login, you can click ‘Lost your password?’. This will trigger an e-mail to be sent to your e-mail account with a link to click to set a new password. If the forum sees your new password as too ‘weak’ it will encourage you to make a stronger password.
Strong passwords have more than 8 characters, a mix of letters, numbers and symbols, and don’t contain words that it would be easy for someone who knows you to guess (such as a pet’s name).
Once you’ve set a new password, the system will change it and you can then login with your username and your new password. You won’t receive another e-mail confirming the password change.
