Galop is a trusted voice on issues related to the abuse and violence faced by LGBT+ people, as well as the impact of anti-LGBT+ prejudice on the community as a whole. We can provide spokespeople or expert voice statements on a range of issues, including domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, forced marriage, and so-called conversion therapies.

Galop also releases public statements on key events or issues relating to LGBT+ people’s experience of abuse and violence. These are in our News section. You are welcome to use excerpts of these – so long as we are notified and correctly credited in your piece. Please note that, in most cases, we are unable to provide case studies or access to survivors, and we can never do this on a short deadline.
