We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Maari Nastari, CEO of Star Support and a former trustee of Galop.
Maari was a fierce and compassionate champion for the LGBT+ community, dedicating decades to working across the charity sector and working towards a world where LGBT+ people can live safely.
As we remember Maari, we understand that this loss will be felt deeply by many members of our community, particularly for trans people, people of colour, and all those who worked with her at Galop.
